Stephen Crivillaro, New Yorker and Philanthropist

Stephen Crivillaro was born and raised in New York, New York. Stephen Crivillaro received his bachelor’s degree from Queens College, New York, in Labor Studies in 2009. Most people opt to go to a new city for college, but Stephen Crivillaro decided to stay in his hometown, and could not be happier. In fact, Stephen Crivillaro has made New York his main concern in his humanitarian efforts.

Stephen Crivillaro, in his job as a green consultant, has had to travel to both Mumbai, India and Dusseldorf, Germany, to oversee the construction of units designed to covert waste into energy. Despite his love of these foreign areas and their charms, Stephen Crivillaro always comes home, and it is part of his consultancy work to build up new networks, so these waste to energy converters can be introduced to New York.

New York is truly Stephen Crivillaro’s hometown, and beyond his travels, beyond his entrepreneurship, beyond his philanthropy, he is, at core, a New Yorker. This is why Stephen Crivillaro has dedicated the majority of is philanthropic efforts to helping out in New York City, finding joy in continually giving back to his community.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, Stephen Crivillaro was devastated by the destruction caused to his hometown. Stephen Crivillaro dedicated himself to helping those in need.  Stephen Crivillaro worked tirelessly to raise funds and bring food and clothing to those affected by the hurricane.

Stephen Crivillaro is also a noted philanthropist in the Bronx, where he volunteers at BOLD, the Bronx Organization for the Learning Disabled. Through this organization, Stephen Crivillaro is dedicated to helping peoples with various challenges Stephen Crivillaro is a project and property manager for BOLD, and through BOLD, even furthered help following Hurricane Sandy by directing various reconstruction projects.

Stephen Crivillaro also contributes to Queens College. While at Queens College, Stephen Crivillaro played both basketball and baseball for Queens College athletic teams. While Stephen Crivillaro is no longer an athlete, he is still an avid follower of Queens College’s sports teams, and contributes in any way he can to their athletic department.
